ISACA Networks and Infrastructure Fundamentals

This course is part of the requirements for the ISACA Information Technology Certified Associate (ITCA) certification program: 

  1. Computing Fundamentals 
  2. Networks and Infrastructure Fundamentals 
  3. Cybersecurity Fundamentals 
  4. Software Development Fundamentals 
  5. Data Science Fundamentals 

By completing all five certificates and earning your ITCA certification, you’ll stand out to potential employers. Not only will you have a foundational understanding of essential IT concepts, but also validated skill sets. 

Completing all four CET courses also means you could be eligible to take these classes at no-cost through our Future Ready program. Students who do not complete the ITCA certification will be responsible for the tuition of the classes they do take. 

Networks and Infrastructure Fundamentals offers you the opportunity to build a base-level knowledge and skill set of the key concepts and terminology of computer networks and internets, network and infrastructure standards, protocols and models, basic network components, topologies, functions, and processes. You’ll be able to explain simple and complex networks, security, remote access, and network virtualization. 

Prerequisites:

Digital literacy.

Expected time commitment:

9 hours/week for 3 weeks, plus 3 hours in the 4th week  (30 hours total)
